Our purchasing team is seeking a Buyer  (2 days onsite and 3 days remote)  to own inventory performance across our locations. You’ll use data to drive purchasing decisions that improve availability, increase turns, and reduce excess inventory. This role ensures disciplined replenishment, strong vendor partnerships, and accurate data to support operations while maximizing profitability and minimizing risk.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Own purchasing and inventory by forecasting demand, placing purchase orders, and managing stock levels using key metrics like weeks of supply, lead times, and demand trends
• Use data to drive decisions by analyzing sales and inventory to adjust min/max levels, shift sourcing, and improve performance
• Execute and continuously refine replenishment strategies across multiple distribution channels
• Maintain accurate product, pricing, and vendor data across internal systems
• Identify slow-moving or excess inventory and drive clearance and reduction strategies to improve inventory health
• Partner with vendors to manage relationships, pricing updates, and program performance
• Collaborate with internal teams to support inventory strategy and overall operational success

WHO YOU ARE:

• 4 year degree from accredited university or equivalent professional experience.
• Able to translate datasets into clear decisions
• Seeks to understand inventory drivers like demand, lead times, and turns
• Effectively prioritizes in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Communicates well across teams and with vendors
