We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the full accounts payable function and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, this role will lead the accounts payable team, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the accounts payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Supervise, train, and develop accounts payable staff, including setting performance goals and conducting performance evaluations
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounts payable policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards
• Monitor and analyze accounts payable processes; recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and disputes
• Prepare accounts payable reports, including aging reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Perform monthly check clearing reconciliations

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable 
• Must have previous leadership experience managing AP 
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience in process improvement and implementing best practices
• Dealership experience is a plus
