Our Technicians are part of the heartbeat of our company keeping families camping and creating lifelong memories. Our growing service team plays a vital role in the experience we provide to our customers and maintaining our successful service center. 

 

The  Technician Trainer  trains and coaches the Service Technicians to provide industry-leading quality repair processes, facilitate required RVTI certifications, and support them as needed with regard to established performance standards. By doing so, this allows the organization to deliver on its mission of being the premier RV partner for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive team atmosphere.
  • Accountable for ensuring Service Technicians receive proper training to perform their roles effectively through established training programs.
  • Collaborate with peers and leadership to discuss best practices, successes, challenges and/or opportunities.
  • Trains and coaches Service Technicians by utilizing established processes and procedures to ensure they are knowledgeable and compliant with HAM Certification, the Technician Training Program (TTP) and RVTI Certification standards.
  • Partners with the Corporate Technician Trainer for feedback and support with regard to the stores respective Service Technician training program.
  • Maintain records regarding Service Technician training and certification requirements.
  • Ensures that Service Technicians keep a current and accurate log of Continuing Education Units (CEU) toward RVTI recertification.
  • Act as a contact to the Service Technicians and leadership for industry changes, best practices, and updates to current processes and procedures.
  • Attend scheduled trainings, coach and mentor Service Technicians for continued development.
  • Maintain RVTI Level Two Technician certification.
  • When all daily task requirements have been met, service RVs in the shop at the Foreman’s discretion.

Qualifications

 

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that will lead to strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Process and procedure oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Communicate well with all levels within the organization.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • RVTI Level II certifcation is a bonus, but not required.
